We have so much to be thankful for. God is so good and He loves us more than we can know. He is in our life and His Spirit is in our heart. That should make me want to shout praises to Him.
I get so busy now that I’m retired. I can’t believe it. I thought I would be a lady of leisure and sit around and read and eat bon bons. Au contraire. Each day brings many things to do. But, the blessing is that they are usually serving the Lord. Thank You, Lord.
I find myself singing His praises all day long. I thank Him when I’m making the bed because I have such a nice soft bed in a nice comfortable home. I thank Him for so many of the little things that make my life so wonderful.
I am so thankful He has called me to serve Him. It brings me such joy. I love the new things I’m doing. I have begun doing inspirational speaking. I love sharing the word.
On October 24th, 25th and 26th I am going to be a vendor at the Memorial Drive UMC Hearts and Hands Market. (www.mdumc.org) I hope to be able to put Good Morning, God! in so many new hands. I know it will help them have a closer relationship with the Lord.
On October 29 from 2-4 I am doing a book signing at Barnes & Noble in the River Oaks Shopping Center on West Gray. I’d love for you to stop by and see me.
Don’t let yourself get down in the dumps. Don’t let Satan steal your joy. I know it sounds trite, but if you count your blessings you will have to be lifted up. God loves to bless His children. Give Him praise with a joyful heart.
