I want God’s will to be done in every aspect of my life. I know He is on His throne and He reigns. Praise God.
It is easy to say, but it isn’t so easy to do. God, in His infinite wisdom, gave us free will. That gets me into more trouble than I can imagine. I try to do what is right and what I know is God’s will, but so many times something comes up and maybe my will takes over. I don’t always do God’s will. I let the “little sins” creep into my life.
If we let God reign in our life and let His will be done, our lives will be so much better than we can imagine. We make great plans that we may think are in accordance with His will, but do we remember to pray for His guidance and for knowledge of His will?
God will answer every prayer that is accordance to His will. Sometimes we think we know what is best. Sometimes we pray fervently asking God for something very important to us and that prayer is not answered as we wish. I’m sure this has happened to you.
I’m also sure that many times when we look back we realize that God’s “answer” was the best. Even though it may not have been the one we thought we wanted, we see that God had an even greater plan.
Remember when you were in high school and totally in love. You prayed to God that you would marry that person and live happily ever after. Like Garth Brooks says, “Thank God for Unanswered Prayers”.
Give your life to God and let His will be done. His plan for our life is far better than we could dream.
