We have all just spent countless hours watching television stories and reports about our Presidential election. We have received numerous political phone calls and have been bombarded with mud-slinging debates. Thank God that is all over and it is a new year. No matter your political stance, the good news is God is still on His throne and God is in control.
No matter which candidate you voted for, Donald Trump will become our new President in a few days. He needs our prayers and America needs our prayers. Our President and country always need prayers.
We know that our nation was established on the tenants of the Bible. Our forefathers based our Declaration of Independence, Constitution and laws on the precepts of our God.
Romans 13:1 tells us: “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.”
I pray that we can all unite and pray for President Trump and for America.
1 Corinthians 1:10 says: “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”
It is time for America to humble ourselves and pray for God to lead our government and our lives. We haven’t done a very good job on our own.
Please make a commitment to pray for our Nation. Pray that God’s will be done and that we can once again become One Nation Under God!
This is a new beginning for America. Let us all unite and pray for unity, peace and prosperity for all.
